The Presentation Builder is one of the most feature-rich modules in Moduvo. It gives you three completely different ways to create presentations — each designed for a different level of speed, control, and visual polish.
Whether you need a quick deck in five minutes or a fully customized, cinematic presentation with hand-tuned slides, the Presentation Builder has a mode for you.
The Three Modes

Classic Builder
The Classic Builder is a straightforward 4-step wizard that generates a complete presentation from a topic.
How it works
- Enter your topic — describe what the presentation is about
- Define your audience and tone — the AI adjusts language and structure accordingly
- Choose the number of slides — select between 5 and 15 slides
- Toggle AI image generation — optionally generate images for each slide
A progress indicator shows your current step, and you can navigate back and forth between steps before generating. Once you confirm, the AI creates the entire presentation — content, structure, and optionally images — in one go.
When to use Classic Builder
Classic is ideal when you need a presentation quickly and don't need granular control over individual slides. It's the fastest path from idea to finished deck.
Advanced Builder
The Advanced Builder is where full creative control meets AI-powered assistance. It's designed for users who want to shape every detail of their presentation while still leveraging AI for content generation, image creation, and smart layout selection.
AI-Powered Outline Generation
Start by describing your presentation topic and the AI generates a complete outline with intelligently selected layouts for each slide. The system chooses from 7 specialized visual layouts based on your content:
- Timeline — for chronological sequences and milestones
- Pyramid — for hierarchical concepts and priority structures
- Process — for step-by-step workflows
- Comparison — for side-by-side analysis
- Checklist — for task lists and requirements
- Stats Row — for data-driven slides with key metrics
- Icon List — for feature lists with visual indicators
Beyond these specialized layouts, you also get 8 content layouts for maximum flexibility: Title-Bullets, Image-Left, Image-Right, Two-Column, Quote, Section-Break, Big Number/KPI, Full Image, and Three-Column.
15 Modern Themes
Choose from 15 professionally designed themes, each displayed as a large, detailed card with a mini-slide mockup so you can preview exactly how your presentation will look. Every theme includes customizable fonts and color schemes.
Fixed 1920×1080 Canvas
The Advanced Builder uses a fixed-resolution 1920×1080 canvas, scaled to your screen via CSS. What you see on screen is exactly what you get in your export — no surprises, no layout shifts. This is the same resolution used by professional presentation tools.
AI Image Generation with Smart Image Placement
Enable the "Include AI Images" toggle and the AI doesn't just generate images — it intelligently decides which slides actually benefit from visuals. Not every slide needs an image, and the system knows the difference. Slides that would be better served by clean typography or data visualization are left image-free.
28+ Language Support
Generate presentation content in over 28 languages, including English, Czech, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Arabic, Hindi, Turkish, Vietnamese, and more. Select your language in the wizard and all AI-generated content — titles, bullet points, speaker notes — is produced in that language.
Document Import
Import content directly from .docx files to auto-populate your presentation. Upload a Word document and the builder extracts the content, mapping it to slides automatically. This is ideal for turning existing reports, proposals, or documents into presentation format without retyping anything.
Per-Slide Customization
Every slide can be individually fine-tuned:
- Background color overrides — set a unique background for any slide
- Text scale adjustments — make text larger or smaller per slide
- Inline formatting — apply bold and italic formatting directly in the editor
Free-Form Text Blocks
Add draggable, resizable text blocks anywhere on the canvas. These free-form blocks sit on top of the slide layout and can be positioned precisely where you need them. Text blocks support:
- Click-to-select interaction with an expanded hover hitbox for easy access
- Drag handle for repositioning
- Resize handle for scaling
- Delete button for removal
- Inline editing with Bold (Ctrl+B) and Italic (Ctrl+I) support
All text block operations — editing, moving, resizing — are tracked by a 5-level Undo/Redo system (Ctrl+Z / Ctrl+Y), so you can experiment freely without fear of losing work.
Icon Integration
Bullet points can be enhanced with Lucide icons for a more polished look. The AI automatically selects appropriate icons based on content context — for example, checkmarks for completed items, trending arrows for growth metrics, or warning symbols for risks. An icon picker lets you manually override any selection.
When exported to PowerPoint, these icons are mapped to Unicode symbols to preserve visual intent across platforms.
Slide Count Slider
Use the slide count slider (range 1–30) to control how many slides the AI generates. Combined with theme selection and language choice, you have complete control over the scope and style of your presentation before generation even begins.
Premium Builder
The Premium Builder delivers professionally designed, visually stunning presentations with minimal effort. It uses a powerful external design engine to produce results that look like they were created by a professional design team.
Visual Theme Selection
Browse a gallery of visual themes, each displayed as a 16:9 mini-slide mockup so you can see exactly what the final design will look like. Each theme has a distinct visual identity — from corporate minimalism to bold creative styles.
Simplified Setup
The Premium Builder streamlines the creation process with a chip-based interface for selecting audience type and presentation tone. Instead of typing descriptions, you tap the chips that match your needs — or use the "Other" option for custom input.
3-Panel Editing Experience
Once your presentation is generated, you work in a polished 3-panel layout:
- Left panel — Slide rail showing thumbnail previews of all slides
- Center panel — Full-size PDF preview of the current slide
- Right panel — Speaker notes for the selected slide
This layout gives you a complete overview of your presentation while keeping notes and navigation within reach.
AI Image Generation
Like the Advanced Builder, the Premium Builder supports AI image generation with selectable image styles. Choose the visual style that matches your theme and the AI generates images that integrate seamlessly with the professional design.
Language and Document Support
The Premium Builder includes the same 28+ language support and .docx import capability as the Advanced Builder, so you can create professional presentations in any supported language or from existing documents.
Sharing and Collaboration
Presentations can be shared with other members of your workspace. The sharing system supports:
- View and Edit permissions — control who can see and who can modify
- Real-time sync — changes from collaborators appear automatically
- "Shared" badge — presentations shared with you are visually marked in your library
Share directly from the presentation editor or from your presentations library. Shared presentations appear in each collaborator's dashboard with clear visual indicators.
Presenter Mode
Present directly from the browser with a fullscreen Presenter Mode:
- Fullscreen via browser API — takes over the entire screen
- Auto-hiding cursor — the cursor disappears after a few seconds of inactivity for a clean presentation
- Per-slide transitions — choose from Fade, Slide, or Zoom transitions for each slide
- Keyboard navigation — use arrow keys, spacebar, or click to advance slides
- Escape to exit — press Escape to return to the editor
No need to export and open in another application — present directly from where you built it.
Export Options
When your presentation is ready, export it in two formats:
PowerPoint (.pptx)
Export a fully editable PowerPoint file with all slides, text, and images. The export preserves layout structure, font choices, and image positioning. Icons are mapped to Unicode symbols for cross-platform compatibility.
High-Resolution PDF
Export a high-resolution PDF rendered at scale: 2 for maximum sharpness. Every slide is captured as a high-fidelity image, making the PDF ideal for printing, sharing via email, or archiving.
Both export formats include all slides and embedded images in a single downloadable file.
Your Presentations Library
All your presentations live in a unified library with a clean grid view:
- Unified card design — each card shows the title, creation date, slide count, and builder mode badge
- Auto-save — every change is saved automatically as you edit
- Quick actions — open, duplicate, or delete presentations from the library
- Builder mode indicators — instantly see which mode was used to create each presentation
The library serves as your central hub for managing all presentations across all three builder modes.
Getting Started
The Presentation Builder is available as a module in your Moduvo workspace. Activate it from the Module Shop and all three builder modes are immediately accessible.
Choose the mode that matches your needs: Classic for speed, Advanced for control, or Premium for visual impact. You can always switch modes for your next presentation.
